How much microSD storage is supported?

Xiaomi lists expandable storage up to 1TB for both global models. Its specification pages also warn that memory-card support and compatibility can differ between manufacturers. The stated limit is not a guarantee that every card will work.

Before buying, check the specification page for your exact regional model and the card seller’s compatibility and return information. A listing that says only “Note 14 series” is not precise enough to establish the tray layout.

Choose the arrangement before buying a card

If you need two physical SIMs in the phone, plan around its built-in storage. If a memory card matters more, the supported combination leaves room for one physical SIM.

For a new purchase, compare the internal-storage versions sold in your market before deciding. Do not assume a microSD card can solve a storage shortage while both SIM positions remain occupied.

Check your exact model first

Use the full model name on your device or packaging and match it to Xiaomi’s regional specifications. The global Note 14 without “5G” is listed with 4G connectivity; the global Note 14 5G is a separate model. Both happen to have the same hybrid-slot restriction.
